Angie’s Birthday Reflection Post💖

From walking in as a bright-eyed law clerk in 2005, to navigating my first trials as an associate through 2012—my time at TSSW law firm wasn’t just a job; it was my foundation. This place, and more importantly, these people (Darlene, Dina, & more), shaped the lawyer I am today.

It was the entire team of staff and attorneys who patiently taught me the real, gritty fundamentals of trial lawyering (from court filing, bates and exhibits, client intake, case management, motion writing and oral argument).

They celebrated my milestones, big and small. They decorated my office for every one of my birthdays. And I’ll never forget being sworn in, in front of them at our office, just days before my very first trial. They made the firm feel like family.

Recently, I reconnected with some of the ‘ol TSSW team over lunch after all these years, and it was as if no time had passed at all. The same warmth, the same wisdom, the same laughter. I’m deeply grateful, overwhelmingly nostalgic, and truly excited to be welcomed back into their quarterly fold. Here’s to rekindled connections in 2026💃🏻
